Asta Care Center provide restorative services to assist our residents to achieve their maximum level of functional independence. Our rehabilitation program is available to any resident who would benefit from this service upon the written order of their physician. Under the supervision of a nurse specially trained in rehabilitation nursing and under the guidance of Physical Therapist Consultant and Occupational Therapist Consultant, an individually planned program is initiated. The program includes exercises, parallel bars, whirlpools and reciprocal pulleys. The programs are carried out by Certified Nurse Assistants who have received special training in physical and occupational rehabilitation techniques. Other residents of the facility benefit from individually designed restorative programs that are carried out by the Certified Nurse Assistants caring for the resident. This program encourages the residents to participate in their care, while also encouraging them to remain or become as functionally independent as possible.
